The Committee meet at the request of the ting Colonial Secretary.

The Committee unanimously recommend the adoption of a reduced rate of postage and that the amount be fixed at 7 cents per half once for the present.

ESTIMATES 1891.-Item 29. Public Works Extraordinary.-Sub-items 32 to 38 were considered and agreed to unanimously.

The Committee is then adjourned sine die.

Laid before the Legislative Council on the 22nd December, 1890.
